Join a four-session nutrition class that will take you through the crucial strategies to help you not only achieve a healthy weight but also give you the tools to save money and time in the kitchen.
You will learn how to prepare your weeks meals in one cooking session, how to get way more veggies in your life and how to manage your portions so that you can look and feel your best.
This program is for you if you are struggling with your weight, have a health condition or if you just want to learn awesome cooking strategies that will make “healthy food” taste great. This program is not for you if you want a fad diet or prefer to eat boring foods that leave you feeling tired and craving sugar.
Understand ‘why’ you eat the way you do in this three-session program. This is a very important step for changing your eating.
The program helps you discover the situations, thoughts and emotions that affect your food choices. This is called a cognitive-behavioural approach.
You will then learn how to deal with your specific eating struggles by changing your thoughts and/or behaviours.
Learn how to prepare the majority of your meals on the weekend. These sessions are once a month and will review easy cooking methods that will help you incorporate healthy foods without being stuck to eating boring plates of chicken breast and leaves.
You will receive easy make ahead recipes so that you will spend far less time in the kitchen during the week allowing you more time for your friends and family.
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring or time consuming!
Look for her monthly nutrition/cooking classes that will teach you everything you need to know about supporting your body at any age. Her cooking classes will teach you how to prepare a large number of nutritious meals in a very short period of time. Once you learn these easy techniques, you’ll save hours in the kitchen and have more time for important things like spending time with your family and friends. Kelly helps to demystify the rapidly growing body of knowledge in the nutrition field about hormone health.
And of course Kelly is available for one-on-one nutritional counselling at Crosstown Family Health Team. Her services at the FHT are free –so book today! You won’t regret it.
